No App Store. Tap once to add it to your home screen and it works just like an app.
Who's the waste from?
What's in the load?
Answer a few plain questions — what the waste is, how much, who it's from — and sign on the screen. Big buttons, gloves on.

Saved & searchable
Every note is saved and searchable for you, kept for at least 2 years. On a paid plan, your customer gets a tidy copy by email automatically.
Built for the round, not the office
Fill notes in anywhere — a dead spot, a basement, the back of beyond. They save to the office the moment you're back in range. Nothing gets lost.
You don't need to know the official waste codes. Type what the load actually is — plasterboard, muckaway, black bags — and ComplyWaste finds the right code for you.
Save your regular customers once. Next time their details are ready — just pick the load and sign. No re-typing on a wet, cold morning.
When the tip is on ComplyWaste too
The site that tips your skip has to record what they take in. When they're also on ComplyWaste, they get your load details automatically — so the two records agree, there's no arguing at the gate, and nothing to chase afterwards.
It gets a short code (like CW-7Q4K2M) automatically. Nothing extra to do.
One box on the paperwork they're doing anyway.
ComplyWaste checks the two records match and shows it on both screens.

That's why one van is free forever — the more firms on it, the more the paperwork checks itself.
What's changing, and when
The government's new digital waste-tracking rules are already starting. They land in stages — here's what actually changes for you, in plain terms:
Tips, transfer stations and recycling centres in England and Wales must record what they take in on a computer (Northern Ireland and Scotland follow in January 2027). Turn up with paper and you'll slow down at the gate; turn up digital and you're waved through.
The government opens its system for waste carriers to start using. ComplyWaste already captures everything it will need, so you'll plug straight in — nothing to re-do.
From this date a paper transfer note no longer meets the law for carriers. Every van needs a working digital system — not a plan to get one.
Not sure which date applies to you? Carriers vs receiving sites, explained →
Fair question. The government service is where the records end up — it's built for the regulator, and it's good at that. But filling it in is the hard part: a driver on a muddy site at 7am, in the rain, gloves on.
That's what ComplyWaste does — quick capture in the cab, works with no signal, finds the waste code when you type “rubble”, and keeps every note searchable for years (paid plans put your logo on the customer's copy and email it for you). When the government's carrier system opens, your notes flow straight through — nothing to re-type. The portal is where it lands. We're how it gets done without holding up the round.
