Why free for one van?

The free tier is how the network reconciles itself

From October 2026 DEFRA links every carrier's record to the receiver's under one Waste Tracking ID and checks they match. When both sides are on ComplyWaste they share one record — the carrier's signed note mints a movement code, the receiver enters it, and both sides show Reconciled ✓ or Mismatch ⚠ automatically. Making the carrier tier free forever gets both sides of every movement onto the network, so the paperwork checks itself — something carrier-only and receiver-only tools structurally can't offer.

Pricing FAQs

Is there a free plan?
Yes — the Free plan is free forever for a single van: unlimited legally-complete transfer notes, offline capture, predictive EWC search, your own records dashboard with 2-year retention, and it auto-links to any receiver on ComplyWaste. No card, no time limit.
What does Solo add over Free?
Free keeps you compliant; Solo makes you look professional. Solo puts your logo and brand colour on every note and emails the branded PDF straight to your client automatically — no more hand-sending — plus a client and site address book for three-tap repeat jobs. Crew then adds up to five drivers with team management, and Fleet adds unlimited drivers, CSV exports and the API.
Is there a free trial on the paid plans?
Yes — the paid plans start with a 14-day free trial with Crew features and no card required. You only add a card if you decide to continue, or you can stay on the Free plan.
What is the two-sided reconciliation network?
Every waste movement has a carrier record and a receiver record, and from October 2026 DEFRA checks that they match under one Waste Tracking ID. When both parties are on ComplyWaste they share one record: the carrier's signed note mints a short movement code, the receiver enters it when they log the load, and ComplyWaste reconciles both sides automatically — showing Reconciled or Mismatch before DEFRA does. Carrier-only or receiver-only tools can't do this.
Do the prices include VAT?
No, prices exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from the billing area. Notes you've already captured remain your legal records and stay accessible.
What counts as a driver seat?
Driver seats are the people capturing waste transfer notes in the field. Owner and manager logins for the office dashboard don't consume a driver seat.
Is ComplyWaste ready for Digital Waste Tracking?
Yes. Digital Waste Tracking becomes mandatory for waste receivers from October 2026 and carriers from October 2027. ComplyWaste captures structured digital records now, so you're positioned to feed the service without re-keying.
