Pricing

Pricing for sites taking waste in

It's all here — no sales call. Logging your loads is free forever. The paid plans send every load to DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking service for you — working today, and the law since October 2026.

We move waste — skip, grab & clearance firms and hauliers (carriers). We take waste in — transfer stations, recycling centres and other permitted sites (receivers). Do both from one account and save 20% on the receiver side.

Do both?

Run trucks and take waste in?

Run both sides from one account and one bill — and get 20% off the receiver plan. Better still: when your own trucks tip at your own site, the two records reconcile automatically — the waste passport writes itself.

Why free for one van?

When both sides use it, the paperwork checks itself

Since October 2026 DEFRA expects your note and the tip's record of the same load to match. When both of you are on ComplyWaste, you're working off one record — you sign the note, the tip sees your load details, and you both get told straight away whether it all matches ✓ or doesn't ⚠. Making it free forever for one van gets both sides of the job onto ComplyWaste, so nothing gets missed — and that's something a tool that only does one side can't give you.

Common questions

Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever for one van, and there's no card to enter. You get as many waste transfer notes as you like — all filled in to meet the law — even with no signal, plus you can find any waste code by typing what it is, keep all your notes in one place for 2 years, and it links up automatically with the tips you use. No card, no time limit.
What does Solo give me over Free?
Free keeps you within the law; Solo makes you look the part. Solo puts your logo and colour on every note and emails it to your customer for you — no more sending them by hand — and lets you save regular customers so a repeat job takes seconds. Crew then gives you up to five drivers with team tools, and Fleet gives you as many drivers as you need, spreadsheet downloads, and the option to connect your own systems.
Do I have to pay to try the paid plans?
The paid plans start with a 14-day free trial — you add your card to begin, but you're not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then and pay nothing. If a card isn't for you, the Free plan is genuinely free forever, no card at all.
What happens when the tip I use is also on ComplyWaste?
Since October 2026 DEFRA expects your note and the tip's record to match. When the tip you use is also on ComplyWaste, they get your load details the moment you sign — so there's no arguing at the gate and no chasing paperwork. Both of you see straight away whether it all matches up. A tool that only does your side can't do that.
Do the prices include VAT?
No, the prices don't include VAT. VAT is added at the checkout where it applies.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel any time from your billing page. The notes you've already done stay yours as your legal record, and you can still get to them.
What counts as a driver?
A driver is someone filling in notes out on the job. Owner and manager logins for the office side don't count as a driver, so they don't use up a slot.
Is ComplyWaste ready for Digital Waste Tracking?
Yes. Digital Waste Tracking (the new DEFRA system) became the law for sites taking waste in in October 2026, and applies to carriers from October 2027. ComplyWaste already records everything in the right shape, so you're ready without typing anything twice.
What do sites taking waste in pay?
Logging loads is free: as many loads as you like for one site, stored exactly how DEFRA needs them and checked against DEFRA's rules first. Site at £99/mo sends every load to DEFRA for you, for one site. Group at £249/mo covers all your sites plus spreadsheet downloads and connecting your own systems. Note DEFRA charges its own £26/year per organisation to use the tracking service — that's separate from ComplyWaste and applies however you file (direct or through us). You can always see where our DEFRA link-up stands, with official sources, at complywaste.co.uk/dwt-status.
We run trucks and take waste in too — do we pay twice?
No — one account runs both sides on one bill, and doing both gets you 20% off the take-waste-in plan. When your own trucks drop waste at your own site, the two sides match up on their own.
